It is only right that Orient pay into the public purse... after all, we all need to do our bit to fund an overpriced stadium for West Ham and subsidise the huge cost of running it for them too...

...but hey-ho it is nice and close to Orients ground so could increase the real estate value of the redevelopment of Brisbane Road, which will help towards building nice new apartments for Hammers fans & the Brady bunch to blow champagne bubbles in...!

scratch

Ever get the feeling you've been had..?

Sounds like Barry Hearn might be snookered !

Yeah good idea, because what harm can it do?

After all, it's not as if they employ anybody beyond the playing staff.

The local pubs and takeaways don't rely on the income generated on a match day. The local printers don't need the money they make from printing programmes to keep their staff in work etc etc etc

Regardless of whether your comment is trolling or misguided banter, it's indisputable that you're a thoroughly inadequate individual.

Might yet have a trip to Aldershot next season too, they're on a very good run and a decent bet for the playoffs.

I wouldn't have thought the Orient owner would refuse to pay the tax bill, particularly as he's touting the club for sale at four million quid. Letting it go bust would somewhat devalue his investment.

That doesnt make him any less of a shyster.

Looks like their fans mean business

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39151664 potential calling in the administrators despite the fact it would result in a 12 point deduction
