All at home and a chance to do well against teams in the top 6.
We must get some points surely?
Play-off hopes or likely mid-table finish come 8th March? |

Mid table I think - I'll stick with my pre season prediction of 13th |

Barring Luton we haven't really played any of the 'big boys' of this league at home yet so the next ten days will be interesting. I'd be hopeful we might be able to get between 4 and 6 points to at least keep the flickering glimmer of hope of a play off charge alive and keep thing interesting. |

That's a great fact thad, just shows that we are doing better than last season.
I must say as a STH, I've enjoyed this season so much better than last year under the previous regime.
These new owners have brought about a massive confidence boost and sense of belonging to fans, in my opinion.
So far, I'm happy with this season. |

We would need to take nine points from these games just to have a slim chance of a play off fight, not going to happen. |

There are lies, damm lies and then there are statistics.
I believe (and I'm not going to check) that we did not get a point from the last ten games when the players and management team gave up trying.
So what you are saying, Thad, is that Drummy is about as good as Mark Yates?

Really..? I was unaware that I had expressed any opinion whatsoever Jim...
I accept your point that you cannot compare apples & eggs, but it seems a bit of a stretch to imply that I had, by merely posting "Five more points will equal last seasons total"...!
In any case... a comparison of the two based solely on points is too limited. Yates was actually very good at pragmatically getting points on the table and didn't care how it was achieved. Drummy has a more long-term vision that also carries a higher risk of defeat. |

Thad; Come now. A little bit of fun never hurt no one. I know you rate Drummy quite highly.
The football is a lot better this season but it is too airy fairy really. The football last season was more robust but lacked "quality". Now if we could mix the nous and the quality we should be able to make a promotion challenge. There again, if wishes were horses beggars would ride.

I just hope, that whatever happens, I predict 12th or 13th, that, we hold steady over the summer break, management and squad all stay put, consistancy is needed... |

I thought you were being a bit mischievous Jim, but hey-ho I'm not the sensitive sort.
Drummy still has a lot to learn, he has a parochial approach but might need to toughen up & dish it out on occasions and also be prepared to compromise on style when results are at stake. ... but what I have really bought into is the "built to last" vision of the owner, which Drummy is an integral part of. |
