Even when 1-0 up we looked second best. Quite hopeless. No cohesion no passing and dreadful distribution from the back, Yorworth passing was dire. Enzio had pace but was rarely used as it was like the pathetic *beep* yates days sat back and it was just matter of time before they scored. What really concerns me is DD lack of managerial expertise he did NOTHING to change what you could see happenning from first half. Second half was a mare all round. No wonder 500 had left well before the eight minutes extra time. Conclusion DD looked out his depth and management and coaching was unacceptable today.

Got what we deserved really. Far too many players below par.

Having got our noses in front we played far too deep and eventually paid the price.

Personally I thought we were outplayed in midfield, Smith was OK but Cox, Payne and Roberts just didn't do enough. Enzio another average game and we lacked any sort of spark.

Probably best summarised by Drummy bringing on Billy Clifford in the 7th of 8 mins injury time. Totally pointless.
i thought with set piece we might finally show some guts and determination threw everyone even.keeper forward instead we ended like a wet letticue leaf.

Thought Stevenage were a half-decent team and ended up getting what they deserved in a game of three halves.

Too many peripheral players today and a total failure to do the basic stuff - too many stray passes & we never won a second-ball all game - which is just not acceptable at all. No positives really... just a reminder of how much we owe this season to Collins & Morris.

Got to ask why Kaby hasn't featured more lately..? I thought he always did well and gave us a bit of bite where it was needed.

Young was suspended.
Harrold is injured.
Earlier in the week Drummy said Tajbakhsh was in Turkey. Maybe that's still the case?

So that just leaves Garnett and Watt as unknown. But as we had a full bench someone has to miss out.

Very disappointed. To follow up the hartlepool pay what you want with that is embarrassing as we will not gain any fans on that showinig.
We have a very strong first eleven now but dd is tactically inept.

The clock ticked to the 8th minute as Clifford came on. Most bizarre substitution I've seen for many a year.

Even with the extra minute and a half the referee added on to the 8 I'm not sure whether Clifford touched the ball.

Then again had he scored a late equaliser we'd be saying it was an inspired substitution.

Poor result. Unless we miraculously get a couple of wins out of our three consecutive away games coming up then that's our season over.

Spot on. Last week's result looked awful enough, but I wasn't there. I was today, and i would like the manager to explain how his team put in such a limp, disinterested and, frankly, pathetic performance.

Cliford is the vital link in this team. Today we had Payne and Smith running around and playing quite frankly *beep*. They were destroyed. There was no one to take the 50 60 % of our possession and conect with the front two.

Cliford isnt perfect but he has huge energey and more skill and belief than the rest of the midfield put together. he makes a lot of mistakes but he is taking all the contact and trying to create play.

My other point is fitness Payne and Cox need to go on diets they are not fit enough to play at this level.
