I think that they would be 'escorted' rather than 'ejected'.

Of course our brave stewards have failed to 'escort' opposition fans in the past........

Pompey have 2300. RA thinks it will be a sell out. Capacity - 2300 = a bit over 3,500, i.e. home crowd. Can't see US having over 3500 in addition to Pompey's 2,300. Smile

In the Obby today it says the club are hoping for a gate of around 4000. I think they're underestimating that based on Pompey's allocation. The home support should be more than 1700.

That would be our lowest league attendance all season so definitely not,

Nathh, that would be the 1,621 home fans against Colchester Smile

BBC says 1851 for the home game against Colchester, but I'm not one to split hairs Laughing

I don't see anything wrong with away fans mixed in with the home support personally. Shocked

I did wonder if you might have something to say about it Smile .

Most of the time it wouldn't be a problem, I reckon, but there's always those (such as Newport) who go looking for trouble.

The thing I find funny is this week the Hartlepool game they're advertising the lower admittance price and moving the away support to accommodate the hords of floating fans ......... shows initiative. But the following week when there's going to be an army of 'floating fans' (obviously from another Club) there doesn't seem to be any attempt at real segregation ....

However i'll almost feel sorry for some Pompey fans that end up in our end, if they're legitimate non trouble causing fans who just couldn't get a ticket in their end if they get ejected .......
nothing legitamate about away fans in home end. Against ground regulatuins and safety advice and id expect certificatation and if club dont act appropriately who is likely pay the price?

I wonder have online ticket sales been suspended due to suspected Portsmouth fans getting tickets for home areas?

its not ideal for reds fans that cant get to ticket office in person/live further afield but i think the club had little choice but to act and do something.

Sorry to be the doom merchant again....

But looking around online and through the gospel. Iv heard that they are coming in great numbers. Anything between 500-800 with out tickets. No doubt they will try their luck getting in home end.

I would have your wits about you on Saturday as things could get messy. Maybe even a case for leaving kids at home

I honestly hope I'm wrong as they really could damage the ground etc.

Be a few shocks and eyes opened to what it's like when refs play against a proper team with proper fans.

Actually fanci Crawley to win 3-1

Could you define "proper fans"?
