Weve faulted at the Cheltenham hurdle but we can win the national...no reason why we still cannot win the league and go up as champiins. Stanley like rest in this very poor league are beatable. A win and we are back in the hunt. Dissapointing to lose against a bad side in this league but it happens to the greatest of all teams. Whats important is DD reassembles the troops to hit back.

Good to see the forum isn't packed with panic, just because we have lost a game.
Let's see how the team react to the defeat. That's the important thing, and will go a long way in establishing if we are a top or bottom half side come what May.

We were awful in the first half, but looked much better in the second, and improved after each substitution.

We could have nicked an undeserved point at the end so credit for the fighting spirit shown. A great goal too

After a dreadful first half performance, where we messed about with it at the back before continuing to launch it long to Collins which didn't work, we improved dramatically after the break.

The tempo was upped and the substitution to bring on Bawling at half time for the anonymous Banton was a brave choice from DD but one that worked. They scored just as we were finding our feet to make it 2-0, and after Kaby's brilliant strike, the grandstand finish was on.

However, we missed a few decent chances and still appear to want to walk the ball in.

Connolly was his usual brave self, Kaby battled well, Bawling had a big impact and should start vs. Accy on Saturday. Impressed with Tajbaksch, too, who was neat and tidy on ball.

However, Clifford still flatters to deceive whenever I see him play and Banton was pretty useless as well.

We certainly deserved something from the game, in my view, particularly for our second half efforts.

Already looking forward to January when we have a plethora of options in the squad, which will include the returns of Payne, Harrold, Roberts and the official signing of Cox.

Banton is turning into be a disappointment.

Banton, Clifford and Arthur were all poor today. Things improved when Bobson and Tajbakhsh came on.

We could of lost 5.1 today. Good to see DD admitting we were second best. We played some lovely football at times but our defence never looked at the races....

For his size, Arthur is too easily outmuscled and outfought - one of the worst fullbacks I've ever seen

I actually prefer him to Blackman on the whole, although I would have Mitch Hancox over both of them. I was impressed with Arthur against Charlton and he hasn't really had a run in the team yet. He seems to be able to pass the ball quite well but lacks pace.

No shots in the first half tells its own story we were very slow and just didn't get going. Much better in the second half with the subs but their second goal left us with too much to do. Definitely second best but put it behind us and move on to Saturday and get back on track.
