Sad news. Ian passed away overnight at home.
He will be missed by a lot of people.

He was a true stalwart and a great bloke, as a work colleague and fellow supporter.. I shall miss the Saturday afternoon banter with him. Crawley is a sadder place today. RIP Ian.

Must say I was totally shocked when I heard. A really nice guy who followed his passion both for football and through the programmes.

I am absolutely staggered and shocked. If anyone had CTFC carved into his heart it was Ian. In the years I attended the games before my debility I enjoyed many conversations with Ian. A true gentleman, always had time to talk to the fans and was loyal throughout, although he had his loyalty tested several times by a certain regime.

RIP Ian and sincere condolences to family and friends.
