Thanks fellas, bit of a grey moment for me. It was Mark that I was actually at school with not Neil who was the younger brother, just recognised the name. I remember Mark Being at Sutton in the early 90's as he was there one day when I was lucky enough to have their sausage sarnies.

All checked out, Carshalton lads. At least the memory hasn't gone completely.

For a minute I thought you were trying to pass yourself off as 33. Laughing

Cheers Peter and Wodin for your kind comments. Laughing

Mark was younger than me as well by about 3 years, he had the misfortune of me reffing him in school games when I'd first got my whistle. No idea obviously what he was like for you when he played but he was a tasty player who went on to play for the county schools team etc.

Don't think I could even try passing myself off as 33, when I told someone last week I was leaving the job they actually asked if I was retiring. Time for the "Just for Men" I think! Very Happy

Armo won't be playing sadly. Spoke to him at the BH friendly and he's on holiday which he's gutted about.

Sadly I'm away too otherwise I'd have been there too

We need a replacement blond bombshell in midfield.... what ever happened to that fancy-dan fella Jimmy Dack...? Wink

I'm otherwise engaged too... family duties always get in the way of my fun... but looking at a few names on that teamsheet, I'm pretty confident that most of them will still be in the clubhouse a long time after the final whistle and hope I might catch up with them then.

Having been decimated by injuries and wives we have a side of players who still want to represent Crawley of old and charity.

Whatever happens the charity deserves you're support.

Who knows you might get to see Ian Payne where he deserved to be.
