Yes - midweek replay after a 0-0 draw at Town Mead on the Saturday. We lost 2-0 and Maggsy played a blinder in goal that night. At least so I'm told as I was off school with a sudden mystery stomach ailment that day. Smile

I remember Maggs playing very well in the first game. I've a feeling he was sent off in the replay?

Wasn't this the first time Crawley made the FA Cup first round?

No, definitely not. He was superb that night, as was John Edge playing in the sweeper role. I gathered Exeter wanted to sign him afterwards. (Edge that is).

First time in 1st round proper was the year before, 1-1 draw at home to Chelmsford, lost the replay
