Dicker had a right pop at Crawley when he left. No thank you. Sparrow is past it . Decent in his day though .

From Sussex as well IIRC. Definitely worth an enquiry at least. Not Gary Madine though please!

This is what Gary Dicker said about us:

Quote:
I didnít really enjoy it there as much. Donít get me wrong, there were some good lads there like Mark Connolly and Billy Clarke. But itís a Conference club in League One and that sums it up really. Some of the stuff that happened there wouldnít happen at a League of Ireland club. For instance, travelling to away games and there is no water or food on the bus. Little things that usually get done.

It doesn't seem that out of order to me. That's the sort of thing that should be frustrating to a professional footballer.

It sounds like fair comment to me as well - m y only reservation being whether it was appropriate to voice something publicly that should have been dealt with in-house. As for the Conference club in league 1, he was totally wrong as we are now in league 2 Smile

Definitely. As long as he's over his injury problems. Proper player.

A lot of those players wouldn't step down to division 2 let alone Crawley.

It's key our manager has the connections to sell the club. The Accrington Stanley chai got it spot on when he said that the manger has to recruit a squad that should cost 800k for 500k.

Zamora, Ferdinand, Wright-Phillips, Dunne and Barton all released by QPR, surely they'd all be gagging to play for CTFC even taking into account a slight wage reduction

Cool
