Stating the obvious but we need a win Monday.

today nor Monday were and are must win games, it might go to the wire but i think we will already be down or with an impossibel target given our GD come Coventry game and last game of the season. The damage was done by Goves and Gregory earlier, DS task has always been an impossible one, given form I suppose goaless draw was likely, didnt help others winning but thats the way it goes, we have tough matches coming up and we wont win many games remaining. I fear the closer we get to the wire DS will get us defending all the more and when we set out like that we inevitably will lose far more than we win. Odds very heavily stacked agsinst Crawley staying up.

First 20 Mins it was all Crewe, we were pretty poor similar to last weeks display.

Then we started to play as if by magic and were unlucky not to go in half time one up. Second half we dominated and should have taken advantage of a poor Crewe display.

Disappointing, yes, but would have taken a point at the start so cant complain.

Solid performance by all, not great but solid, stand out player for me Fowler, could he be another Sergio?

They had a number of set pieces including corners and we didn't concede, as we were earlier in the season.

Good turnout by travelling supporters and very vocal, made more noise than the home support. Long drive home for them, only 20 mins. for me!, however I will be there on Monday.

I was hoping, praying, we would nick a winner, alas it was beyond us in the end.Maybe if we had gone for it before the 83rd minute the goal would have come.As a result we are still in the bottom four and running out of matches. If we fail to pick up all 3 points on Monday then I fear we won't recover.

Without Wordsworth

The BBC Websit states Tomlin not Wordsworth was booked. "Reds Wall" states Wordsworth.

Who ever it was is due for suspension as both players were on 9 yellow cards

Without being device ...hope it's Tomlin..you never now what you will get from him game to game minute to minute ..he plays like a Brazilian one second and plays like a Sunday league player the next.

His contribution has gone through the roof but Wordsowrth is a fundamental part of the team. A bit lazy but always effective.

It's Wordsworth. 10 yellows = 2 game ban.

Not good, but at least he will be able to play with more freedom in our last four games of the season.

I think his loan expires before the Posh and Coventry games?

An away point is an away point but can we afford to be so philosophical given our position?

Crewe had the better of the first half but we really came into it in the second period and really should have forced in one of our numerous half chances towards the end.

It looks like injuries and suspensions are now really going to hamper us. I don’t like to label things but Oldham has now become must-win.

Jensen – 7 – Solid handling throughout and one very good double save in the first half

Oyebanjo – 5 – Looked unfit which is understandable given his time out

Bradley – 7 – He’s become a really solid performer and will be vital for us in the closing weeks. Moved seamlessly into centre back

Leacock – 3 – Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it does look as though he was rushed back from injury

Wood – 7 – Another really professional performance – thank goodness we have him

Fowler – 7 – Again marshalled our midfield from the ‘quarter-back’ position

Wordsworth – 6 – He put in a shift but things didn’t work out for him

Tomlin – 5 – Our must frustrating player ever? Also didn’t track back as much as he should have

Edwards – 6 – He battled hard but didn’t trouble the Crewe defence

Pogba – 6 – He seems to amble around at times but also shows signs of real quality

McLeod – 6 – He was only feeding off scraps and got zero protection from the ref

Dickson – 8 – A high energy performance and offered us a real out ball on the left

Morgan – N/A – Limited time on the pitch but had a few nice touches
