Just to raise the corners issue again.

Why, at 2-0 up, did we bring everybody back?

They left 3 up when we had a corner.

Perhaps when BT does one of his "friendly" interviews with JG or PG he could ask them.

I'm reading this correctly, we brought everybody back for corners against a county league team, at home?

UNBELIEVABLY NEGATIVE! Embarassed

I'd be very surprised if it did count, I remember back in the first season in the Conference, Ian Simpemba was suspended for three matches, after match number two there was a Senior Cup tie, and although he wasn't allowed to play in, it didn't count towards his suspension, and he couldn't play on the next league game.

Given the club were non league back then and it didn't count, I doubt very much that last night counted.

I can also rememebr at the time, SD and FV making a big case to the Sussex FA and the FA over what constituted a first team game. The Sussex FA said the SSC was regarded as a first team fixture and so he was banned, the FA said it wasn't and while the SUssex FA reserved the right to say he was an ineligible player, it would not count towards his ban.

It was nonsensical...but what else would you expect from the Sussex FA or the FA for that matter

Yes, it does seem like overkill doesn't it? I suppose it could be argued that we did it in order to practice how we do it in L1 matches but I would have thought a game like this could also be used for some entertainment.

I just wish we didn't practice it, let alone do it in ANY match.

Maybe that is why we kept shooting high and wide. To practice for the next league game?

They *broadcast* it on a Saturday, but it's far from live Wink
