I wasn't present today so won't say too much on the performance etc, but would you make wholesale changes to the team on Tuesday or just the odd tweak here & there? Bulman & Dicker in maybe for Drury & Simpson (or M. Jones maybe?). Not suggesting those players have had a bad game at all, but maybe just give a fresh pair of legs and give a breather to those who have played a lot of football of late & are probably now feeling it.

JG seems surprised we started so poorly but with a "luxury" midfield without any bite in the centre in a scrappy away game where they are fighting for their lives what did he expect?
Drury is what he is which is an often classy passer of a ball, but often at his own pace, KaiKai is just an inexperienced kid who was shown to be way off this level before. He says about not being able to make 4-5 changes every week but he made one of two today but left the experienced player who havent had much of a kick for weeks on the bench still!!?
I assume Danny Bulman was injured?

Lets be frank .... Our best 11 are very competitive in this league if they are fresh and ready we can literally beat anyone ...we lack any depth hence JG is hamstrung as to changes he can make .

I thought Dicker and P Connolley would provide some quality ...I do think P Conolley would be a great addition to the back four but Dicker hasn't contributed as expected.

Reality is we have a decent 11 but not real quality cover.

81 away fans.. on a Saturday.. for a League 1 club. Dear lord, how embarrassing. No wonder we get laughed at.

The match in one word - atrocious.

Roll on Tuesday!

those games off as said at time proving now disasierous as cant compete with so many games in space time we cant recharge the batteries and this was perhaps always going to happen in many respects at least it was only a single goal defeat lets hope we can bounce back Tuesday but surely even the most hopeful Reds fans can see the plays offs is a dream this season, but at least we are too good to go down.

I was not there but judging by the Football League show highlights (or lack of them), we did not have an effort on goal that was even worth showing!?

A long journey there and back.
Best part of the day was the pre match drinks.

The Crawley performance it-self was poorer that the away game at Gillingham.

In a word "Woefull"

JG looks and sounds absolutely gutted in the interview on youtube. He is a realist and very diplomatic. Good on you JG.

Billy Clarke had one effort very well saved from the keeper. Other then that no nothing worth seeing again.

20 I wish I didn't spend.

I do like the frankness of JG's interviews, he doesn't mince his words and he puts over clearly that he hurts as much as us. He obviously thought we missed Bulman's example and leadership and others just didn't fill that void.
However hopefully they can put it right on Tuesday.
