Still does not explain why the terrace was not full to the brim like it has been for past big games in the cup etc (unless the number of fans allowed in there has been changed)?

My boy is 6 and has a terrace season ticket. He wouldn't have come to the Wolves match even if it was on a Saturday, and certainly not on a school night. I'm sure there are other kids with BW ST's in the same boat.

I know of a family of 5 STH's who couldn't make it last night.

Season tickets aren't vaild for cup games, so all tickets sold go to people who will be coming, generally.

Does that help explain?

They have sold them peter. They belong to Season ticket holders.

As they got their tickets for free and they are only 8, they don't tend to come often.

Didn't the club announce capacity was 5,753 now? Thats no record.

Or are you fishing? Confused

Don't want to be pedantic.....but I'm going to anyway Very Happy If the STs were free the club haven't sold them. But the fact remains there were huge swathes of space in the east stand family section. Calling it a sellout with all those spaces just doesn't work for me. We're not Arsenal, but maybe we employ the person that calls their attendances?
I thought the freebie Thales STHs were placed in that part of the stand too? It's never full there. I understand a lot of the kids wouldn't have been able to make the game last night. But the problem with these free STs is people feel under no obligation to turn up as they haven't paid for them. We really need the revenue from bigger crowds - last night shows the club haven't got things right yet. If some of those STs are not being used at all, resell the seats. Other clubs do it. It's revenue needlessly wasted.

Pedantry accepted Laughing

They've been sold in the sense that they are not available for sale (with respect to Sultons seemingly regular issue - maybe he needs to see the club and get their seat chart updated!). So it was a sellout by virtue of no tickets being available for sale.

Just demonstrates the folly of giving out free season tickets IMO.

Hopefully it will stop now.

Was that the incident when he had to turn back and bend around the defender?

I didn't think it was as easy as others made out........

Looked like Tubbs was crawling along the ground trying to head the first one in Smile .
That first "shot" he did. Anyone think that was a *beep* cross?

Ha ha. The "beep"above was a surprise. It was the way I spelt "miss hit" Smile

It was a cross. Tubbs put his hand up afterwards to say as much.

Tubbsy's goals mean that he can be forgiven for anything... I'm not sure certain fans would be so amused if Proctor's first two significant contributions were an inadvertent shot from an intended cross and then tripping over his own feet when put through....(?) Confused

And my apologies to Paul Jones who I wrongly felt on the night was culpable for their goal Embarassed

That is not slagging him off. It's a fair observation. If he could head the ball in the direction it needs to go, it's 3-1 and it's game over.

Is that sign language for a cross or something? Putting one's hand up.

What would he sign for a low rapier-like shot into the corner?

Sell Out but not Full House. Does seem crazy that 150 people bought tickets and didn't turn up, when they could have got a refund, or given it to someone who could have made it.
