Just back to Hotel after poor second half performance from Crawley. We should have put the game out of sight in the first half but after Josh goal we settled down to playing pretty football without really pushing hard for a second goal.
Once Shrewsbury scored their crowd came to life and we looked very poor. Sergio lifted the team when he came on although he did not create very much.Jammie created a couple of chances and he really should of made more of them. In the end we came close to losing the match that should really have one in the first half. Very frustrating.

Joking about RRR aside, it sounds as though we were lucky tonight and that against a team who cannot win at home and are struggling at the foot of the table.

Smile and make snide comments all you want but if JG is satisfied with that I'll eat RRRs boxing gloves!

A strange game tonight. First half we were in cruise control against a poor Shrewsbury side. Second, we didnt show up and allowed them time and they grew in confidence. Crowd got behind them and you could see an equaliser and more coming. We settled for a point in the end, but my word, we should have had all three in injury time when Mr Proctor lost any composure he may have and missed a sitter from 6 yards. Really woeful strike.

A few years back I directed Alz to Hereford as I said I knew the way.Unfortunately though,I got confused and directed very close to Nailsworth. We missed the first 25 minutes.
I never directed for Alz again.

Perhaps the CTSA could sign on loan for their team Sat Nav who I believe is currently available.

Absolute farce on the supporters coach and we missed the first 12 minutes of the game. When we eventually got to Shrewsbury the driver appeared to have no idea where the ground was. It would have been laughable if it hadn't been so frustrating and annoying. Surely those loyal fans short changed ought to be compensated, after all we left Crawley at 2.30pm!

As for the game rather disapointing. Generally woeful finishing seems to regularly let us down and we don't have the ability to score and nail games down when we are on top. Desperate defending at times in the second half meant we were somewhat lucky to emerge with a point.

Few players emerged with real credit although I thought Walsh was again man of the match as he had been at Gillingham in my view. Simpson played ok but most others underperformed. Proctor made a difference when he came on but missed a great chance to win it right at the end, although to be fair he did create the chance himself. From what I have seen I am not sure that either Dicker or Fallon bring anything significant to the party.
