IMO, it's not that he isn't a reasonable player - it's more that he isn't a good fit at Crawley. In another type of team, he would probably be fine. Ever since Steve Evans started stamping his philosophy on us, our way seems to be that all individuals must be prepared to "take one for the team". In spite of managerial changes, that one seems to have stuck. But Sinclair doesn't appear to play that way. Nothing wrong with that at some clubs - just not at ours. Some teams prefer to slip a through ball through to a target man who has a bit of pace - and not expect too much else from the target man. This is where Tubbs is so different from Sinclair. Tubbs will get stuck in and do some dirty work as well.

He wasn't even on the bench to come off it. JG was quoted post-match that Sinclair is in talks with another club.

And from earlier this afternoon...

Looks far from cut and dried. A suggestion on Mansfield forum of a fee of 50K and that Northampton might also be sniffing around.

If it needs 50K from Mansfield it will never happen, they aren't exactly flush.

Crawley striker Emile Sinclair's move to Mansfield is off. Stags will be making no more signings in window due to financial constraints

Couldn't Mansfield and Northampton go halves on him?

EMILE SINCLAIR could still leave Crawley Town this month with manager John Gregory admitting two clubs are interested in the striker.

The striker only joined Crawley Town at the end of August, but has failed to impress. However, having paid 100,000 to Peterborough United for the 26-year-old, Reds boss Gregory said the club would be looking to recoup at least some of that fee.

They had agreed to share him but could agree on who would have the half that couldn't head a ball.

IMO the half that can't head the ball is marginally worse than the half that can't kick a ball.

All for a good cause of course... Very Happy

With the amount of rain we have had tonight I would think that is what he would need to get up there!
Just seen that Sinclair has gone as well now. Can this Atkins guy play up front as well as in goal?!! Confused
