Well that is what happens when you decide not to go at the last minute, more fool me!
Well done to those who went, and what a second half that must have been to watch live, lots of bookings for us, late goal for them and then six minutes of injury time!
Fantastic stuff! Never a dull moment for us is there (apart from the last eight games Barker was in charge of course)!?
Cannot wait for boxing day now, should be a good crowd with something to shout about, and a group of players who have discovered how to score again!
COYR!

The management team have added a bit more grit plus being more clinical. Could easily have been 4-1 up when a Billy Clarke chip over the keeper was denied by a superb goal line clearance. The biggest plus point for me was Nicky Adams second half performance - form is temporary but class is permanent as the saying goes. I do like Proctor but even in shooting practice before the game he couldn't hit the target. Sinclairs going to have to toughen up to get a whiff of a first team place. Add some signings in January and we can confidently look upwards and not over our shoulder.

Drury critical of Barker in his interview saying he was told he would play in the middle when he was signed in the summer. Maybe that's why Drury is playing better now he's in the middle.

5 bookings - GOOD. Passion and taking no prisoners comes to mind. We're not nice anymore. Drury is starting to run the playmaking show in midfield

One booking, GA, was for over celebrating!

Interesting that there were no substitutions this afternoon, especially after JG has said the players were very tired after playing in such heavy conditions on Wednesday night.

Just got back. Bl**dy brilliant performance and result.
Thought last season was great but today was better as I honestly didn't think we could beat them the form they are in.
Great team performance. Back four were brilliant and Adams and Drury have a new lease of life. Alexander was sharp and everyone else played well.
Reckon playing in terrible conditions on Weds helped the players in difficult conditions today.
Great support from the fans as well.
Anyone hear how many of us went ?
I need a lie down now.

2 or 3 additions to give us some depth .

Looking very light on the bench today.

We've been crying out all season for Drury to be playing where he is most effective - central midfield - horses for courses! Barker had to...... Sergio!! Now then - the question is - will JG rotate over Xmas/New Year games? You can't play the same side for all the games, so will Sergio get a game? Play Sergio in his position and let him work his magic! Horses for courses! And let's keep this roll going![/u]

Think we need to get over the Sergio thing he was great for us but he isn't in the same league as Drury, Adams ,Jones or Clarke.

That's not a criticism of him but we do have some decent footballers here now in the first 11. Sergio has been superb for us but not sure he could add to the team now .

I agree. I can't believe RB and JG both have it wrong and he will presumably be on the move at the end of the season, if not before.
