I hope as many as possible turn up to cheer on the lads.
We were all up in arms ( well, most of us),when the academy was scrapped for the second time....so let's give some support to what remains of the youth structure!

Away to winners of Cambridge United v Woking is the prize for a first round victory.

We're leading 2-0 at half-time. Updates are being posted on the club's Twitter feed.

A very entertaining game. Some good goals.

It was good to see players being able to get to the byeline and put in good crosses.

Understand one Crawley player was only 14. He gave a very mature display for his age.

From what you've seen, any of the squad likely to progress to the seniors?

I thought you had to be between 15 and 18 to play? That's what we get told via our league.

If Yelsis could answer that accurately,he would surely be chief scout at Man U!

At the game last night I met someone I had played football with in the 1960s. He told me that his grandson, who was playing for Crawley last night, was only 14.

The rules for the Youth Cup (see 15j) say players must have turned 15 latest end of August so let's hope his grandad is mistaken.
