This interview is extremely worrying.
All Ritchie Barker has done is convince me even more that we are in one hell of a crisis.
The next two games are huge.I have this feeling we are on the titanic and steaming full speed towards the iceberg.

As for the match. We looked ok for 10 minutes and poor for 80.

Heard more than a couple of fans headed out that RB has to go.

Poor tactical substitutions. Always leaves it to after 65 minutes unless we have an injury.

As has been said, the next two games are crucial.

I don't accept that anything better than 4th bottom is some kind of victory.

On one level you can't legislate for Mcfazdeans error for the penalty. It's his second key error in three games .

My main gripe is the lack of bodies in the box when we are attacking the ball fizzes over to many times with no in there or near it.

I wouldn't call a crisis yet next two games will determine that. Two losses and it's a crisis.

Cant argue about penalty, overall a poor game. Brentford, did they have a shot on Target? We had a 15 minutes in the second half apart from that disappointing display. Agree with MOM, think he will get better when settled.
Nervous about next Saturday potential banana skin. Officials had a poor game with some disputed decisions and I thought we deserved a pen. for hand ball late in the second half. One good thing we are trying to play football as it should be played its just not going right for us in the last third. Hopefully we will come good sooner than later.

Obviously, conceeding a penelty after 5 minutes wasn't the best start, Thought Nicky had a bit of an off game, compared to recent performances, but i thought we played ok, for peroids in the 2nd half we were looking good. Danny was our best player, Don't rate Hurst i'm afraid.
When our new striker was standing next to their keeper, it looked like Peter Crouch standing next to Arnold from Different Strokes.

Game of two penalties. Theirs was given, ours wasn't.

Apart from that we had the only other shots on target.

Dire game. They were poor, we wer. No better.

Same old story really. We competed well and didn't do a lot wrong, but we gave away an early goal yet again and wouldn't have scored ourselves if we played till next Saturday.

We tried all three forwards and they were all poor. Best chance to Alexander and he made such a horlicks that it hit his standing foot and bobbled away.

I really think we lack a leader on the pitch.

If Hednesford had a scout at the game their tactics will surely be to try and nick a goal and hope our forwards carry on like they did today.

First time I have heard RB sound that deflated after a league game. However to hear people calling for his head is a bit harsh, I'd be surprised if anyone did better on the budget we have.

Thought the first half was as poor a game of football as I've seen in a while, worse than Newcastle v Chelsea at lunchtime. And that was crap.

Brentford offered nothing and seem to be near the top of the table on the back of solidity rather than spectacular and plenty of time wasting from the minute they were in front.

Ref should have booked their keeper first half and that would have stopped it.

Second half we were better, Brentford weren't. Drury's header a real classy move and some other neat football played. But we need someone with a bit of confidence in front of goal

I think talk of a 'crisis' is a little over the top personally. Think it's more like a reality check for those who seem to think this team/squad is better than what it really is...

Sorry for the earlier post but the Old Speckled Hen was having a go!

That was the type of game that gives possession football a bad name! When it goes wrong by all means recycle possession but it has to have a chance to go wrong. Play in the opposition half. It's not rocket science. Keep ball in our half and lose it we are in trouble. Keep ball in theirs and lose it... their' s time to regroup.

I counted three shots on target for both teams in this game. Just not good enough. We desperately lack a midfielder who will run beyond the forward. It can be overcome if the forward stay in the box and wingers cross the ball but not if the lone forward spends all his time chasing balls into the channel and our wide men have no one to cross to!

A tactics scout/coach could pull this performance apart much better than me but what annoys me is that the opposition did not have to play well to beat us. That is unforgivable.

I thought we were poor, Brentford pressed us high up the pitch so we knock it long to our loan striker. We had 5 in midfield and by-passed it. When we did get it down we don't pass it with any urgency and too many times gave up the ball.

The only move of any note was in the second half when Josh linked up with Nicky with some one touch passing and we got in around the back.

If we are going to kick it long then we need two up front.

KM was my mom, do the people who pick these come out from the match?

Simpson at full back is a huge mistake, he is wasted, he is NOT a full back end of. What is the point of replacing Proctor with Alexander? It's not the strikers fault they are not getting the service, Adams was again very poor, how does he keep winning man of the match?, I think they give it to him before the match begins!
