What happened on the touch line with their number 12 as I missed it?

I think Rooney was warming up and tried to kick the ball back and kicked their player who rolled over in agony whilst making a meal of it

Hurst headed back to Jones and I think it would have been fine. He panicked however when there guy came tearing past him and just pulled him down . I wouldn't say it was a clear opportunity but his weak back header and lack of composure got himself sent off.

I just don't think you can have him as a right back tonight in the first half they were crossing at will from his side and skipping past him . It's not as though he is slow I think defensively his confidence is shot.

Going forward he looks decent puts some great balls in , tears past opposition players on to through balls.

When we signed Sinclair posh fans basically said you get a lot of mediocrity and lack of effort interspersed with the odd game where he looks total class.
He some how needs to find a way to contribute more otherwise there is no way RB will play him regularly.

Fantastic goal by Mike Jones , up there with Beckham's famous goal from the half way line many years ago.

Barker and Justin Edinburgh ( their manager ) had a bit of a ding dong during the game about Rooney and after the game carried it on down the tunnel.

im beginning to think Hurst is a right midfielder rather than a defender

a position we must strengthen in January or in the form of a loan as i fear if JS gets injured we might struggle in that position

i thought both refs were poor tbh but for 10 we got to see 5 goals a red card Rooney having a pop and a great half way line shot from M Jones

while i wanted us to win i wont be losing any sleep over it, i do think Connor Essam played very well though so a plus point from my point of view

At the end of the day 2-0 up and losing to a team in a league below is just not good enough , Hurst has to be the worst right back I have seen in my many years of watching the Reds, Sergio was awful, Sinclair rubbish Barker please at least show a bit of passion when we are losing instead of writing in your notepad all the time.
Playing one upfront at home just does not work very unhappy on this showing a couple of weeks to get it SORTED before Bradford.

Suprised by the comments about "not bothered" etc, we desperately need a good cup run to get some buzz back in the town and its club, and this being one we legitimately could have played a Wembley final in is (was) very important even if it will be forgotten by those not involved after five minutes.
It also would have given us another midweek game, more chance to give fringe players a proper game and if it had been at home a way of shortening the gap between money making home games (mind you with enough police there tonight to police a Wembley FA Cup Final (some misplaced Police intelligence maybe?) would we make anything tonight?)). As it is we slip quietly out of another cup, putting even more pressure on getting a decent FA Cup run (one year we are going to miss out in this as well).
I know he supposedly isnt at full match fitness, but Sinclair when he had a chance first half to go clear and score just turned back into the defender on his left. Has his "lightning" pace deserted him?

Goodbye Sergio

I don't think I have heard him as frustrated as that before. I would certainly be anticipating changes in the squad.

Rooney - non player. Sinclair - unfit. Hurst - clearly didn't do his case much good. Torres - clearly days are numbered.

Not sure what scope we have for movement but I presume we will need to loan out in order to loan in.

I still think we have an issue up front. GA will be struggling to do 2 games a week, Sinclair is struggling to last 45 mins which leaves Proctor.

I think up front we aren't to bad Proctor did play well last night and was MoM.
Alexander can do a job particularly when he has had a few games. Sinclair we will have to per every with having paid 100k although not sure how his style fits our team.
