I watch the penalty a few times, doesn't look like Fadz touched, Kedwell just went down, although Fadz didn't really complain.

I assumed it was Connolly who conceded the penalty the way he was having a right old rant at the ref (as per the highlights I saw!) Embarassed

It was Connolly. That's why it didn't look like Fadz touched him. Laughing

He played 90 minutes for Wales U21 last night in San Marino. Probably a bit much to expect him to play today too. Wink

the Wales side that lost 1-0 to san Marino ?

So, after one of the best games I've seen in years I have been really looking forward to the Football League Show tonight but it doesn't appear to be on! Does anyone know when it will be on if at all? I need to see those highlights please!

Thought Gillingham were a very niggly side trying to knock us off our passing game. But for their keeper it could have been 6 or 7, plus a special mention to our illustrious captain for miss of the season so far in the 2nd half. Why didn't he control it then shoot?

Can't comment about GA`s sending off as didnt see it, but their bloke deserved his for the blatant push.

Lastly, can't understand why more people aren't coming to watch.
16 goals for and 15 against in 7 games, plus especially in the last 3 playing really good football. What more do people want?

Fantastic entertainment and some super individual performances from the likes of Clarke, Adams, Bulman, Sadler. Subs Proctor and Sergio did what was asked of them. After last weeks stunning performance from GaryA, Legge had him in his back pocket and frustration resulted. Connolly is number 3 in the centre back pecking order but Connor Essam must be now be getting within sniffing distance. Hurst lacking confidence - can he head a ball properly? Drury still in 3 rd gear but he started slowly in his loan spell and will come good. Agree with RB that last season we probably would not have won that game. Looking forward to having Mike Jones back next week - he's now become a key player. Only 40 points or so to go for safety!

Gillingham came to frustrate us and grab a break away goal....There plan was only spoilt by a very suspect sending off of their player..

Gary deserved his red card for appearing to stamp on their defender. Doubt very much if he will win an appeal..

When it was 10 v 10 we were by far the better team and should of won by two or three...

Worry about Hurst as he looks severely lacking in confidence for some reason but Kyle is close to his best and with Walsh and Jones back next week we are close to full strength to play another team who will probably try and do a smash and grab on us...

Lets hope we are established in play off zone by the end of September..

Actually, at the time I thought it was Connolly. Yet unless I was suddenly hearing things, after the game on BBC Surrey RB attributed it to Fadz. Not that I suppose it matters. The weight of all those pies he was carrying sure pulled Kedwell swiftly to the ground either way.

Well Fadz seems to agree it was a penalty so I suppose he should know.
I just watched it again and I still cant see it, the contact must have been very slight.
From RB's interview I reckon Gary probably has the basis for an appeal. If so just as well it was a straight red.

Unfortunately Graeme in that situation most players tend to cheat, the slightest touch and the forward will go down as if hit by a ten tonne truck.

I'm not sure from the TV that GA will have a successful appeal. RB was miles away from it.
