I would certainly have settled for 3 points from the Wolves and Peterborough games combined. Shame about M Jones being sent off but I reckon Hurst at RB and Simpson back in middle for next game.

Interestingly if we had had drawn both games we would be sitting here feeling pretty yet here we are with a point more.

Stunning performance....Peterbourgh are on fire and we have done a real job on them. Really pleased for Alexander he has gone well this year. It's a result we deserve after the gutting last minute goals at Tranmerre and Wolves.

We have now out played two of the best teams in this league no reason we can't have a crack at play offs with our squad ...it's a small one but plenty of quality.

Just need to get through Monday.

Great job RB and team 4 very winnable games to come now 3 at home. Lets just get some supporters there.

Perfect result. Two goals AND A CLEAN SHEET. Gary Alexander gave a stunning centre forward performance. Even without the goals, the way he headed the ball Barnett style, held up & laid off the ball and defending was great to see. Mcfadz isn't far off his best again. His timing in the air was literally a leap forward. The team carried on from wolves in terms of effort and skill. Just want to watch this team again and again, so really really hope 11pm on Monday passes without any exits

What a cracker of a result.

I couldn't go but I listened to the radio commentary and it seems we fully deserved the win.

Well done to the players and coaches and a 'you jammy so and sos to the fans who travelled'. I'm not envious.

Wish RB hadn't said it won't be long before we lose somebody....I sence bad news. This squad could do something if we keep it together.

Hopefully but it worries me we have spent a 100k. All the math say we can't afford it unless someone goes....I hope not.

I think it's pretty clear we are going to lose at least one payer, question is who?
I reckon the rumour about Walsh going to Palace for 1.5 m could have some legs.

1.5m. I would bloody hope we would sign a couple of players if he goes for that cash. That's our entire gate receipts for a season.

What a performance today though....we have had the toughness start playing 3 of the top 5 and we have looked pretty solid ...only the result against the meat pie mans team left us feeling we should have done better.

Just saw the interview with Kyle in youtube. Apparently Alexander is a 'world class' finisher in training and will 'bend one into the top corner'. Maybe he should treat every game as a training session!

The thing with Mcfaz is he has that persona of menace about him...the intimidation that you don't quite know how far he would go ...at a different level it's not unlike Jon Terry ....without the personality defects of course !

Good interview.
