No need to say much more than what has been pointed out.

Throwing away a two goals lead is unacceptable. Doing it twice in two games shoulld mean a long walk back for some of the team.

We'll all have to wait to see why but as an old fashioned manager once said "If you win games look at the midfield, if you lose games STILL look at the midfield".

By the way. This is the Crawley I know and despair about. Losing to lower league opposition in the cups. Has normal service be resumed?

We have had it very easy for the past few years, this season going to be a very long hard slug to the finish, were going to win some and lose some on the way Lets all get behind the team and give them the support they need and deserve.

See you at Tranmere on Saturday.

This early habit of throwing away two goal leads is a worrying situation.
I think we are all entitled to say"SORT IT OUT BARKER"
Two games in and you are already moaning.

Harsh... He actually started moaning after only one game in. Wink

I only got to moan for a minute on Saturday because Mike Jones popped up to save Ritchie Barkers blushes.

Optico,if I want to moan about throwing away two goal leads in our first two games then I will ta.
A bit early in the season to do that, if results are not going our way after ten games then moan all you like, but in the mean time would like to get behind the team, Ta

fishing Only because people like you take the bait.

Poor result but who gives a stuff about the competition anyway.

Probably anybody who cares about the clubs finances and the positive benefits from playing a big club in the cup (remember when we did that, wasnt it fun?)

Tonight's gate of 1,500 odd suggests not many people share your level of interest.

Playing a big club? Lets face it any decent team plays their stiffs anyway and we didn't manage 4,000 against Swansea last season.

At least with the JPT we have a realistic prospect of a Wembley game.

First off Fadz did tonight have an absolute mare.

It was a great game of football and to be honest we were lucky to go 3-1 up as their defender cleared the ball it hit Adams and went in.

Slack defending and some awful defensive passes cost us the game.

Torres Is well down the pecking order Rooney looked very good when he came on and Adams, Jones and Bulman run the midfield. I don't see Torres getting in the side at all.

It's disappointing to throw away a lead but they wanted it more towards the end and I think Barker had it spot on tonight.

Alexander and Proctor played well but Jamie seemed a bit off the pace. The midfield were superb but Fadz looked very dodgy at all times.

Both keepers pulled off some amazing saves.

The fans we took tonight were superb, from minute 1-120 they were loud and behind the team, yet again our fans proved how good they an be.

Agree with your sentiments, but I am a bit worried about this 'long hard slug' you talk of, do we need to put some pellets down at the Broadfield before our next home game?

*insert meltdown here*
OK it's very disappointing to lose in the manner that we did, but it's merely the League Cup which doesn't generate much revenue for us anyway and will only be a drain on the players' fitness. I would have loved a cup run but securing a good league finish is more of a priority.

Conceding 4 goals is a concern of course but it seems that the majority of their chances came from individual mistakes or lapses in concentration, which is easily rectifiable.

Onto Saturday, quietly confident we can come away with 3 points, assuming we can defend...

Not much cash to be earned in this competition.
Unless of course we were thinking of making a semi final appearance.
