Yep, and scored 5 goals I think?

Think so. Fabregas was in that Arsenal side.

Great result considering Palace put out a strong team lets hope we can do that when the season starts. CTFC twitter feed said that trialist from Bognor Wills played well in midfield, would be interested to know how others thought he got on.

Thought the player from Bognor done well, didn't look out of place anyway.

He did seem to want too much time on the ball at times. Or at least that's what RB was suggesting when shouting "too many touches".

Someone's first game is always the hardest to judge.

Good show , Hurst an Drury were our best two players.

The young lad from Bognor did ok but very small . Not sure if he is physically strong enough . Torres struggles physically at this level also.

All in all a good show by us.

If we play passing football, physical strength won't be so important. May be a useful player once he plays at this level more often. Another striker is also important, as well as some cover at full back.

We played very well.
That was a really encouraging performence and will do the players a world of good so near to the start of the season.

Gary Alexander had a good match and actually got better as the game went on,which bodes well.He held the ball up,won headers and worked hard off the ball.I also thought Proctor had a good match when he came on for the second half.He also put in a good shift and teamed up reasonably well with Alexander and the pair caused the Palace defence problems.

A special mention though for James Hurst....He was simply outstanding.
I was really impressed with him today MOM by a mile in a team where all the players did excellent.

Roll on next week.

Outstanding performance today.

The passing football was brilliant to watch, we looked sharp, quick and plenty of passion from the team. Sadler took his goal very well, and it was nice to see Sergio play 90 mins and score too. Have to say, considering Palace played their First XI they were extremely poor and we took full advantage!

Very encouraging!

A 3-0 win against Premier League opponents can't be sniffed at, but its important to remember they have only just started pre season, and ours is almost concluded

Reading the Palace forum,Hurst gets a mention from a Palace point of view.
"Sign him up" they say. They are particularly critical of their own back four though.
