This is what we were playing for at the back end of last season - the right to be seeded. I believe the cut off point is somewhere around mid table of L1. Ultimately it may make no difference but it does give us a better chance of being in round 2.

I was quite surprised to see Stevenage in the non seeds. Hadn't realised that we finished above them.

Yeah just the eight places and 14 points in front of them in the end!

Good draw. Away from home, not far to travel, very winnable!

Poor draw, firstly its away, second distance, I would think its 2-3 hrs from Crawley (must be 200 miles from norfolk.)

At least its winable and I will look forward to the second round draw.

I can think of at least one supporter who will be going, if he's not on holiday.

Bournemouth v Portsmouth could be interesting.

Uninspiring draw. Can't see us winning this one. We never do well at Cheltenham. This will be one of the cup 'shocks'. Pity.

Underwhelmed.

But we've never lost our first match in the league cup, so hopefully that will continue and we'll get a more exciting draw in the second round!

Cheltenham is obviously not the best it could have been - but it could have been worse. I would hate to be stuck on that horrible terrace at Kingston.

I see Brighton got Newport at home.....lucky them.
I sense a few moronic Welsh thugs on the beer, all day,on a lovely August day at that.
A misunderstood bunch.

Not a great draw but it's winnable. Can't see us taking many midweek.

D'ya fancy it? Wink

For all those complaining, I bet Cheltenham fans are more disappointed than we are. Laughing
