He is - around 4.5 to be precise

Is he *beep*.

You reckon it's more then.

I can assure you my quoting of his terms is very accurate - certainly when he signed for the club. I can't believe for one minute that he's taken a cut since the deal was signed

so lets see now KM going CD going? - that leaves 2 recognised CB at the club BJA also told he can go

Wassmer, Davis and Neilsson and Akpan all gone

Sparrow will replace Akpan so im not worried there but we already need 2 forwards as Lateef im sure will not make the grade and must be viewed by RB in the same way as Jonte.

we need a decent RB as Hunty really cant play at L1 level he just isnt up to it, im sure he will move on in the summer and potentially 2 CBs if the rumours are true.

we must surely have the money now to bring in players before we let more go

Ritchie and Coppell must pull a few rabbits out the hat if we are to move onwards and upwards and push for a playoff place or are we settling in to mid table obsecurity?

Mid Table...league 1...a dream mate, I still pinch myself Wink

having read through my post again i sound a bit if not alot demanding but we are so close to being a top top L1 team its just painful to see all the good work being potentially undone

on the up side there is still plenty of time left to sign replacements so all is not lost

May sound a bit of a paradox but I think the good work will be undone if we got promoted as not having the team/infrastructure to compete at the moment in the championship (div 2) a horrendous season would not be a good building block.

Take mid table for this season.

Agree - And because we have the points in the bag, the rest of this season also gives a spot of breathing space for the manager, team & backroom staff to get things settled in, sorted out... and ready to kick on next season... without (this is sacrilege) too much concern about results..!

I see the fat man is up to his usual tricks.

Also the game he went to, can it really be colder than the Cheltenham game Shocked

I'm sure it was -4 that night. All I can remember is that I couldn't feel my toes lol

Interesting that we cancelled contract with 18 months still to run to enable move - suggests we knew we couldnt get anything other than a nominal transfer fee and that removal of the ongoing wage was important to us

Dont think I can remember any player that has left Crawley with my bad wishes until now. Nothing personal Claude, just if I wish you luck I feel like Im wishing Fat Man and Rotherham luck.

Still, thanks for being a fantastic servant to the club in your time here!

I think L2 is about the right level now for Claude, and had he stayed I feel he'd of been 4th choice CB at the club (depending or Fadz going or staying)

I think we would of got a five figure sum at best for him possibly in the 15-25k region. It was probably in the interests of both parties to cancel the contract and go our separate ways. Does make you wonder quite how much money he was on though Confused

Well if he was on 4.5 k as some suggested its a no brainer way to much money.

Indeed, with 18 months left on contract, even if 4k is used thats in excess of 300k over remaining duration.
