With the snow getting heavier in Crawley as we speak it's going to make the 10 o'clock pitch inspection very difficult to call.I can't see how they can make a decision this early.Im of work and looking at the snow coming down and it's getting heavier by the minute. With the snow forecast to last all day and night and into tomorrow they may have to cancel tomorrow anyway even if the inspection goes well in half hour.
Like I said, very difficult decision to be made.

Oddly enough, snow on the pitch at Town Mead constituted an improvement. It filled in all the bogs.
Ah well. Won't be cleaning any windows today Smile . Need a rest anyway.

It's all about the whether conditions on the road down from Carlisle, and weather Carlisle are asked to travel.

If it was about the road conditions, why is the pitch being inspected?

In extreme whether you must ensure your parts do not wither.

No-one seems to have mentioned that they have to travel BACK to Carlisle too... have our responsibilities expired once the match has been played...?

I've done that too but a bit different now with the purified water systems. Before I would just put screenwash in the water and carry on. Now, the water freezes on the glass as it's left to dry naturally.
Knackered here anyway so a good rest needed.

Not surprising really. Even without thinking of Carlisle's travel, it would have been difficult. Also, it's not just the supporters. The players and officials must travel too.

Frozen pitch? Wasnt it warmer last night than previously with the pitch ok yesterday and the covers on? Still I suppose it gets over any arguments about Carlisle having to travel in the weather etc etc
