Think we also need a right back now that Young fella from Totenham has gone back. I liked him mind thought he was a tidy player if not a touch small or at least lacking a little strength.

He has? His tweets this afternoon say he's still here on loan. Confused

I wouldn't be surprised if his loan did end, although I'd rather he stayed until the end of the season.

Agreed Peter, I'd like him to stay also

Think these young premiership players obviously come with a fairly high skill level and at the outset bags of enthusiasm. Where they struggle at 19 20 years old ( other than the exceptional ones - who by def don't tend to go on loan) is sustaining the level of performance over 10 plus games. Not sure whether its the physical or mental side of it or both.

The fullback started very well for 7 or 8 games but then started to dip slightly. Against Mk dons he got the run around like never before and was physically bullied by their winger . He hasn't really featured since with any effect.

Signing confirmed. A contract until the end of the season.

Funny how people see games differently. MK bought on a pacey winger and I'd say Byrne contained him quickly. They soon stopped going down the left side as a result.

I agree Peter, the MK guy had pace but the ball control of Danny Ekoku or Tyrone Berry.

I certainly didn't think he got the run around, in fact he was one of the reasons we kept a clean sheet (our last one in he league). He also tried to pass it a bit.

Regulation 41.3.2 suggests he just needs to be registered by 12pm tomorrow to be able to feature.

I think he had to be registered today by the looks of it.

Quote:
41.2 Subject to Regulations 41.4 and 41.5, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if the appropriate forms for his registration or the transfer of his registration (other than those referred to in Regulation 41.3) are received (including by facsimile) and found to be in order by the Executive by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match.

Admin edit: Quote now quoted

I've bolded the bit that may be of relevance.

And? If transfers couldn't be completed tomorrow the window wouldn't open tomorrow.
