Just a shame we can't make the same noise at home !

Maybe it also has a lot to do with some pretty tepid performances and results at home!?

That has something to do with it but it would help if the crowd don't start getting on RB & players back so often. One bloke behind me starts every week after the 1st pass goes astray.

Normally the people who slag the side off at the home games dont go away - thank god.

yes it reads very well Crawley beating Posrtmouth but lets not forget they are a small club now, nevertheless this shouldnt distract from a remarkable win, one I would never have predicted and has left me in a bit of a shock. there's hope we may mathmatically hover withing shooting distance of the play offs, though I stil firmy belive they are way beyond reality. At least if we keep collecting points along he ay that should starve off being slumped into a relagation battle, again mathmatically.

The numebrs added up well, Posrtamouth beaten and Reds score not one but two goals Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

wow what a game my first time to Fratton Park and while there facilities are shocking at best they and us made up with the atmosphere

i thought it was a good team performance but i really didnt think Hunty is at L1 standard it seems most of us that were able to attend rated Dumbuya a very good wing back - i doubt he will be there at the end of Jan

Claude was great in the air but was a little to casual at times but at least he talks to the other defenders something Connolly and Walsh dont do when they play together but that will come in time

Jones goal kicks were at best sloppy but man can he pull a save out the bag when you need him too

id also like to thank Alain and the guys from the half moon who gave me and my little brother seats at very short notice

bring on Bournemouth and another 3 points COYR

the arrogance of RB was unbelievable on the local radio 'patting his own back' saying I understood that others wont applaude his changes bringing in Claude etc!

Not arrogance, more a dig at those who don't give him any credit for anything. Fair play to him for saying it too.

Barker deserves an enormous amount of credit given the circumstances he took over and what has been achieved this year on limited resources.

The reality is this is very likely to be our high point in terms of succes we achieve...and some particularly on here need to appreciate the efforts of those who make it possible., instead of always complaining and moaning...same people same complaints but constantly proven wrong you would think they would be embarrassed.

He's making a point, he DOESN'T get enough credit... but then again... he also likes to tell us that he is a hard-nosed kestrel-killer who doesn't give a fig about what other people think...?

scratch

Crawley Town winning at Fratton Park... brilliant... it is only a very short time back that we were five divisions apart... well done... keep it going...

...oh... and well done RB... now stop sulking and eat your pie.

I believe that I have accurately translated the sentiments he expressed into the local vernacular.

Did I ever imply that it was a first-person verbatim quote...?

dontknow

What he said was something along the lines that he is not bothered what other people think and that he can always get a job elsewhere... which is yorkshire-double-speak for being really sensitive and deeply bothered about what other people think...

For the benefit of the forum I concisely paraphrased that as "a hard-nosed kestrel-killer"... I am sure that everyone else had no problem with understanding the point I made...(?)
