Listening to both Richie Barker and Paul Jones on Reds Player they both say we played well last night, one of the sides' best performances of the season, if you look past the goals conceded.

And if you look past about 80 other teams AFC Kingston and Luton are the two best teams in the country.

Good point well made. We made some beautiful passing triangles last night but had about as much penetration as Pele without his little blue tablets. Coventry simply sat behind the ball and let us look good, knowing full well we couldn't hurt them from thirty yards away from goal. We gave them two goals due to poor defending and our reply was a good finish that came from a lucky ricochet.

We can spend our days congratulating ourselves on playing pretty football, and indeed I like watching it, but the truth is that at no point after Coventry scored did we look like winning. If we hadn't got a lucky break I doubt we'd have scored either.

Funny thing is we played well against Tranmere as well and ended up hammered. Shame we didn't take our chances and defend better that the other end....

The Japanese have a word for it Simon Wink

I've never got an issue with a manager throwing the dice and going three at the back when we are chasing a game... in fact I rather applaud it.

2 Good things from the Coventry Match:

1. We only dropped one place
2. Clarke scored again

At least they wouldn't have their heads covered in brown smelly stuff like yours would considering where it spends most of its time. Wink
