I didn't go to the game and watching those highlights I'm glad I didn't. The defending was rubbish we were outfought. They could have easily nicked a draw.

We wasn't outfought, far from it. They had a 10 minute spell of when they had to really push and they did. Other than the last 5 i wasn't worried.

So glad you can tell what happened in the game from 3 minutes of match highlights.

The highlights for me was another trip to the peel bar after the game. With pockets full of one pound coins. Very Happy

I did go to the game and we were out fought for 15 minutes and defending and passing was poor for much of the second half. We were lucky.

Met Police scored in the 83rd minute. The extended highlights has their goal soon after 5 minutes in, so the last 7 minutes of the game plus stoppage time takes up just under half of the highlights package.

I thought the extended highlights were a refreshing suprise, I felt they were much better than normal.

As everyone said defending looked a desperate at the end.

Anyone else notice that the ITV show on Saturday night was essentially just a chance for them to plug to death their own wares...

...they are getting nearly as bad as the BBC who love to fill their schedule with adverts for the BBC.. and their programmes with adverts for the latest Bond flick.. not forgetting children in need, the antedote to children in need of protection from the BBC..!
