I think the referee should get man of the match as he spoiled it for everyone apart from the Portsmouth fans

They don't want to give the people want they want.

Been over this many times.

I think the mods some sort of sordid pleasure from it.

Fadz for me, closely followed by Cooper on the basis that noone really stood out as playing particularly well and, when you don't notice them, the central defence are usually playing well.

Would've been Akpan but, whether or not his yellows were correct, his second tackle was a stupid one to make when he was already on a yellow and you can't be MOTM if you leave your team a man short.

Simpson also played well and, although wrongly dismissed, wasn't on the pitch long enough to merit MOTM IMO.

Even though he didn't even finish the first half? Bizarre.

That makes sense but Akpan was head and shoulders the best player. I know Reds were down to nine men when he went off but he kept us in it as if the teams had the same number of players when we actually had 10 men.

I would have given MoM to anyone who gave the ref a slap - even if it was a Pompey player.

I love how only one person voted the sponsors man of the match. Do they even watch the game?

I suppose they just wanted to meet the player that has scored 3 goals so far this season Rolling Eyes
